  • Hello!
Thank you for your hard work and update to Modern Campaigns.
I have some comments on the unit box for the Czechoslovak army. The background is wrong and should be the same as in Volcano Mods http://www.volcanomods.com/downloads/Danube_Front85.zip
HQ of the Polish division is presented by the figure of general of the Czechoslovak army.
The refreshed games look very good and the only thing I would suggest to improve is the “3D features100” graphic file (you can use the file from the “France ’40 3D Talon Mod” mode) especially for titles from the western front and modern series.
Thanks for a great job! Regards! Happy New Year to the whole JTS team!

  • Excellent work and thank you JTS & WDS! This series includes some of my favorite wargames and all the new artwork and scenarios are definitely refreshing. There were mods available to replace some aging graphics but there were none for the 3D environment which I use almost exclusively. I eagerly anticipated this update and now that it has arrived I’m relieved that the 3D map has not been neglected. The revamped graphics, sounds, and new scenarios truly make these classic titles feel like new again. With the exception of ME67 (purchased a year ago), I’ve had all of the titles in the Modern Campaigns series many years already. However, for the PzC series I’ve only had Normandy and Stalingrad. Since their update to Gold, my PzC collection has grown to fifteen awesome titles. So thank you for a lifetime of wargaming entertainment and education.

I did notice that the 3D features bmp files for Middle East and Korea are all-new. For the other Central Germany titles however, the 3D features are the same ones I am seeing throughout the Gold PzC titles. Having the same vintage WW2 buildings in a Modern Campaigns titles is quite odd. Was there no update intended in this regard, or was there a mix up of bmp files, perhaps?

  • Its great you guys are taking the time to update all these titles. One of the downsides to all these updates is I was having a hard time going back to the games not updated yet. Still think these games have yet to reach a whole new crowd of young military history nuts and strategy gamers who are looking for this exact experience. The only reason I found these games is I just stumbled on the panzer campaigns demo in the app store. I try to spread the word when I can!

  • Hello. I have comments on Czechoslovak army unit cards. Motorized units are depicted with a Star 266 truck that has never been used by the Czechoslovak army. CSLA motorized branches in unit cards should have URAL, KRAZ and TATRA trucks. http://www.csla.cz/pl/index.htm
The card of engineering (sapper) units of the Czechoslovak army is presented with the card of the Polish sapper unit (together with the Polish truck Star 266).
Thank you for great games and for your hard work! Best wishes!
    Norbert
